Ezra Feinberg is a guitarist and composer based in Brooklyn. He was previously a member of the San Francisco Bay Area band Citay before moving into solo work, and he balances music with a career as a psychoanalyst.
His solo records are largely instrumental, built from repeating guitar figures, synthesizer beds and slow harmonic movement, with collaborators contributing woodwinds, strings and percussion. The results sit somewhere between the motorik pulse of krautrock, minimalism and a gentler pastoral folk feel, favouring gradual accumulation over sudden shifts.
