Dutch hardstyle veteran and founder of the Dirty Workz label — euphoric kick-driven sets from one of the scene's longest-serving architects.

Coone is the stage name of Koen Bauweraerts, a Belgian DJ and producer who has worked in hardstyle since the mid-2000s. He began producing in 1998 at fifteen and released his first EP, Protect the Innocent, in 2002. He first drew wider attention under the pseudonym "The Artist Also Known As" with "Eating Donuts", a hard dance remix of Blur's "Song 2".

He co-founded the Antwerp-based label Dirty Workz in 2006, which became one of the genre's main outlets and a home for a wide roster of hardstyle and hard dance producers. Since 2015 he has taken a more background role in running the label, which is now built primarily around hardstyle.

His own productions favour the melodic, uplifting end of hardstyle, with reverse bass, hard kicks and vocal hooks. He has recorded a long list of collaborations with other artists in the scene, among them "Madness" with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike featuring Lil Jon, and work alongside Steve Aoki including a remix of Linkin Park's "A Light That Never Comes".

His album Global Dedication appeared in 2013 through a tie-up with Dim Mak Records, followed by Less Is More in 2016 and Loyalty Is Everything in 2020. He also ran a monthly podcast called Global Dedication from 2015 onward. His sets draw on that catalogue alongside newer material from the label.

He entered DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs at number 41 in 2011, rose to number 37 the following year, and was ranked the highest-placed hardstyle DJ on the list in 2015 at number 49.
