Manchester singer Adio Marchant, formerly of Kid British, whose soft, melancholic vocal carries alt-R&B songs and a run of electronic features.

Bipolar Sunshine is the solo project of Adio Marchant, who took the name after leaving Kid British, the Manchester group that mixed ska, indie and pop. Going solo moved him away from that band's upbeat bounce toward slower, more introspective songwriting, with his voice kept close and unhurried over sparse production.

Outside his own releases, his wider audience came through collaborations with electronic producers. He sang on DJ Snake's "Middle" and teamed up with Gryffin on "Whole Heart", two records that set his reflective delivery against big pop-dance arrangements.
