Big Red is a French MC who came up through the ragga and dancehall scene of the 1990s. He is best known as one half of Raggasonic alongside Daddy Mory, a duo that brought Jamaican-style toasting into French rap and helped popularise ragga in France during that decade. He has also worked as a solo artist and as a guest on other French rap and reggae records, delivering verses in a mix of French and patois.
