Canadian rapper who built his audience through short-form video rather than radio — bright, bouncy melodic rap and a near-constant stream of traded guest verses.

Connor Price began performing at six years old and worked steadily as a child actor before turning to music. His roles included Jay Braddock in Cinderella Man, Kenny in two seasons of Syfy's Being Human, and Harry James across three seasons of the CBC series X Company; he won a Young Artist Award in 2008 for his work on The Dead Zone.

He started making music in 2013 under the name Uneyedentified, winning a YouTube rap contest before a hiatus. Rapping under his own name later in the decade, Price released the single "S" in 2017 and the EP 4 of Clubs in 2018; the EP's "Starter Pistol" picked up airplay on Toronto station FLOW 93.5 after DJ Ricochet began playing it.

He built an audience largely through short clips posted online, releasing a steady run of singles and collaborations rather than concentrating on albums, and often shares tracks with a recurring circle of guest vocalists, among them Nic D. His wife, Breanna Price, has also appeared on record, and a collaboration with Idris Elba produced "Courteney Cox - Extended," with Cox herself rapping in the video.

His records tend toward light, melodic hip-hop with sung hooks, clean production and a conversational delivery, and several of them, including "Spinnin," found a large streaming audience without conventional radio support.

The idea, suggested by his wife, led to the Spin the Globe series, in which Price spun a globe and recorded with whichever country his finger landed on, starting with Zambian rapper Killa. "Spinnin," made with Dutch artist Bens, became his most-streamed track, and the resulting Spin the Globe EP, released in 2023, had passed 480 million streams by 2025.
