The Earls Of Leicester

The Earls Of Leicester take their name from a pun on Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs. Dobro player Jerry Douglas assembled the group in 2013, taking the role Josh Graves filled in the original band, with Shawn Camp singing Flatt's parts, Charlie Cushman on banjo and Johnny Warren, son of Flatt & Scruggs fiddler Paul Warren, on fiddle. Tim O'Brien played mandolin in the first lineup.

They perform in matching suits and hats, often around a single microphone, and work from the original arrangements down to the instrumental breaks. The self-titled 2014 debut was followed by 'Rattle & Roar'.
